What exactly is this benchmark?

How the numbers are produced, what they mean and which companies count.

Per sector you see how well companies are found in AI answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. The numbers are averages per sector, so you know how a sector performs without individual companies being identifiable.

Veesie sends a set of realistic queries per company to five AI sources and records each time whether the brand is mentioned, at which position and in what context. Those results are aggregated per sector into an average.

The GEO Score is a single number between 0 and 100 that summarizes how well a brand performs in AI answers. It weighs mention rate, sentiment, model coverage and position together.

The percentage of AI answers in which a brand from the sector is actually named. 30% means a sector company appears in roughly 3 out of 10 answers.

An audit of the website that measures how well it is prepared to be understood and cited by AI models (structure, content and technical signals). Here too we show the sector average.

A mix of Veesie clients and public companies that Veesie monitors itself per sector. A sector only appears from five companies onward (k-anonymity), and individual names, scores or details are never visible.
