GEO benchmark by sector in Belgium and the Netherlands

Per sector you see how often companies are named in AI answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. The numbers are averages per sector, so you know how a sector scores without any company being shown by name.

For each company, Veesie asked around 10 Dutch-language queries to four AI sources (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity) and recorded whether the brand was mentioned, at which position and in what context. That happened once, in June 2026. The results are averaged per sector.

The GEO Score is a single number between 0 and 100 that summarises how well a brand performs in AI answers. It weighs mention rate (50 points), sentiment (25), in how many sources you are named (15) and position (10) together. In the dashboard it is calculated over three fixed sources: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Google AI Overviews was not yet part of this benchmark's measurement, so the GEO Score per sector here covers only ChatGPT and Perplexity, while Claude and Gemini do count in the mention rate per sector. Treat your own score as an indication, not an exact measure.

The percentage of AI answers in which a brand is named, averaged over the companies in the sector. 30% means a brand appears in roughly 3 out of 10 answers on average.

An audit of the website that measures how well it is prepared to be understood and cited by AI models (structure, content and technical signals). The sector average is shown here too, with a dash when fewer than 5 companies sit behind the figure.

5 or 6 companies per sector, most of them public companies that Veesie chose itself and measured once. A sector only appears from 5 measured companies (k-anonymity). Company names are not shown, but the lowest and highest score per sector are.

The measurements date from June 2026 and are not updated live. The figures were recalculated on 13 September 2026. AI visibility changes, so read them as a snapshot.
